U.S. Admits Opposition Council Libya

The United States (U.S.) along with 30 other states eventually acknowledged the existence of the National Transitional Council (Libyan opposition) as the legitimate representative of the Libyan society.

The U.S. decision shows that currently the U.S. no longer see the Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi as a legitimate representation for the people of Libya.

However, Gaddafi is still gripping the city of Tripoli, which is the government in Libya. Similarly, as reported by the Associated Press on Saturday (07/16/2011).

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the representation of the Contact Group on Friday declared Libya, "Libyan leader and his family must go from Libya."

Until now, many Western countries that have recognized the National Transition Council as the legitimate representative of the Libyan society. Poland has even moved kedutaanya office in Tripoli to Benghazi which is the base city of the Libyan opposition.

With the recognition of the National Transition Council as a legitimate representation for the people of Libya, of course, they must act as a protector of citizens of Libya.

A few days ago, proved the opposition forces plundered and burned the contents of the Libyan citizen housing. They attacked a housing complex residents suspected supporters of Moammar Gaddafi. Their actions were condemned by Human Rights Watch.

A total of 12 first page of this novel does not exist because it is sold during the first World War to fund the Red Cross.
